The Henry Quick is Numatic’s first foray into the hotly contested cordless vacuum arena, and the pressure to bring something new and innovative to this overcrowded market has definitely been on. The battery life ranges from 14 minutes in high power with the brush on, to 70 minutes in low power with the brush off, which is about the best you can expect from a cordless vacuum of this size.Just as well it’s not really necessary to remove it once it’s on, unless you want to reach an inaccessible part of the house using the supplied detail nozzle. I can’t vouch that the Henry Quick is as efficient at collecting industrial waste like its mains-powered sibling, but for home use it really does bring something new to the table in the form of that clever pod system. The floorhead is incredibly manoeuvrable, so the Henry Quick glides around table legs and the like with ease.
