About this deal

A large increase in the degree of precision is perhaps the most significant feature of magnetic speed cubes. It only comes in stickerless, but the shades are nice and bright, comparable to QiYi shades, and it's so glossy that you could mistake it for UV coating. When turning speed cubes that do not have magnets – very often, it happens that you are not precise enough. Yes, that’s right – [Tom]’s cube eschews the traditional rotating and sliding mechanism of the original cube, instead replacing it all with magnets.

Certainly, we must not neglect the logical component either, and speed and motor skills should follow the speed of your thoughts. If you're only interested in casual solving and not speedsolving, I'd just get the Yuxin as it's much cheaper and still turns well enough. It's so easy to put back together, so if you take it apart on accident or on purpose, you can put it back together easily.

I do this with every corner in the cube and then flip the middle layer like how you can do it on a normal Square-1 so that two opposing sides are switched. I only recently learned how to speedsolve Square-1, so I figured this would be the logical next step. This was pretty easy to do and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to speedsolve this puzzle. The final cube allows both regular Rubik’s cube movements, but also allows for the player to cheat and reassemble it without having to throw it forcefully against the wall first like the original toy. However, Square-2 isn't a super competitive market so there aren't many other options you can go to.

From the appearance of the first Rubik’s cube until today, we have come to many variations on this theme. The turning on this is pretty smooth even out of the box, and although it's pretty dry-feeling I haven't lubed it yet so far. The fact that you will be more able to manually handle magnetic speed cubes, makes you able to work on increasing the speed of solving tasks. This is such a fun and wild cube that people who don't have GAN money but want GAN auto-align would be all over this thing. This is the kind of employee businesses, especially online retail businesses, need with all that is going on with the pandemic. It just so happens that [Tom Parker] has been working on a Rubik’s cube with a novel magnetic design. Today, speedcubing is quite popular, so there are many manufacturers and brands – and in most cases, the best manufacturers come from China, where speedcubing is very widespread among all generations.

Magnetic VS Non-Magnetic Speed Cubes – Which Is Better? Magnetic VS Non-Magnetic Speed Cubes – Which Is Better?

Literally any bandage mod you want: Since this cube has smaller "piece increments" than a Square-1, you can make a lot of fun bandage challenges. The cube has a feel not unlike the GAN 12, where everything feels quite airy and the auto-align takes over a lot. The two of them will later become known for perfecting the two most famous methods for solving the Rubik’s Cube. It has both enthralled and tormented generations, allowing some to grandstand in the playground while others are forced to admit defeat in the face of a seemingly intractable puzzle.

When we talk about the skill of speedcubing, we must point out that here, the choice depends primarily on the degree of your skill. At first I thought this was going to be lame because it's just a Square-1 with spicy corners, but now I realize that there's no limit to what you can imagine with this cube! It’s an interesting build, and a great one to get to grips with the techniques involved in embedding parts in 3D prints. Also: if you do multiblind and need your cubes to all feel the same, this cube has the performance to handle blind solving without any problems, and is cheap enough that you can get however many you need without breaking the bank. There is a substantial break in period (to be expected with premium cubes) but with this one in particular I did not feel like it reached it's prime until about 500 solves.
