About this deal

It was creepy and scary and had this sinister feel that really put the readers right into the middle of the action. I have had the pleasure of reading many books by this author and she always has a wicked way with a story. I’ll say if you like morally gray characters, and plots that slowly unveil surprising things, then you will love this read. This book details how globally the law and communities are adjusting to the crime, to curb the ability of stalkers to operate outside the purview of the criminal justice system. It showed readers how much her father's notoriety affected Naomi's view about relationships and her reticence in having people know about her.

Even as their lifestyle falls into ruins, the Ayres still symbolise a world of unachievable privilege and pedigree. When one snowy night a man asks the story behind a remote farmhouse on the moors, he learns of the tragic romance between beautiful headstrong Cathy and the orphan Heathcliffe, who Cathy rejects in favour of a rich suitor. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a fast pace, girl gets revenge, young adult thriller kind of book.I also liked how Madigan weaved other people's accounts of being stalked and in one case, of being a self professed ex stalker. Heller deftly explores the ways a close friendship can slide from co-dependence into something toxic and twisted. Most of my GR friends know I abhor any animal cruelty but I understand here why the author had to do it. There’s a slyness to King’s portrait of Annie; most of us have obsessed over a beloved character, and authors wield a special power over our emotional lives. A new transferred student Delilah stands in front of him with her delicate features and shining natural beauty!

Naomi was only 12 years old when she saved a young woman from one of the most notorious serial killers the country has ever known. I didn’t really care much for Logan’s character development, he felt very flat to me whereas Dee was more well-developed and insightful. She goes through life not forming attachments because she has learned that she can't escape her past. Here's our pick of the best books about obsession, from Elizabeth Macneal's The Doll Factory to Emily Brontë's classic tale of destructive romance, Wuthering Heights. Fast forward and Naomi has never been able to truly settle and hides who she is and the atrocities her father committed still continue to haunt her.The statistics will surprise you, and the lack of action from our police and judicial system will make you angry, thankfully, though this seems to be improving.

Don’t worry but Delilah and her mother is fine but we cannot say the same for the asshole boyfriend who rests in hell! Safety: This one should be either Safe with exception or Not Safe for most safety gang readers depending on personal preferences. It was refreshing to actually see Naomi talk about her love of photography, and go about actually doing her job, selling her pictures, making business deals, etc. My husband, an English professor, loves the novel for what he’s dubbed the “Starbuck moment”, when the first mate pleads with Ahab to give up his quest before the whole crew suffers. I was equally angry and sad at the dismissiveness she faced and the social biases that influence us to diminish the dangers of stalking. But it’s fascinating to encounter someone so obsessed that he’ll alter his lover’s coffin to bring her closer after death.
