A history that begins by the half of the 19th century, years in which the park was a meeting point for high aristocracy and other famous personalities from Malaga. When traveling with our children, we always try for an itinerary based on a 50% adult venue to 50% kids interest venue. The tree house area had two very large and fun-looking tree houses which were designed, much like everything else, to give you a feeling that you were some type of explorer on a quest. We actually wanted to stay at the Playmobil Funpark Hotel so that we didn’t have to make the drive back home after our long, exhausting, and full day (and that way we could do more fun day trip stuff from Nuremberg) but the hotel books out pretty far in advance and there was no availability, so alas, I can’t give you my review on if it is actually worth it or not.

If for whatever reason you need to hop outside the park, just keep your ticket handy and you can simply re-enter. We weren’t prepared for all the heat and water, so if we were to come back, we definitely would want to bring some swim clothes with us.

Unfortunately we cannot deliver to BFPO addresses and some large items are shipped directly from our suppliers who ship to the UK mainland only. When walking from structure to structure via a swinging, rope bridge, you almost felt as if you were walking in a jungle, high above the trees. Please note: a signature is required for most deliveries so please choose an address where someone is in. One thing that I think is also worth mentioning is that they have a laundry house in between the pirate land and the tree houses. As awesome as this area was, we decided to only spend a few minutes here because Germany has some pretty stellar playgrounds with similar activities, so instead of spending time on that we wanted to continue on to more unique stuff at Playmobil Land.

One thing that really helps out families, in my opinion, is that Playmobil Fun Park is not a regular amusement park. Playmobil advises to clean the pieces by hand with warm water or a damp cloth, possible with a mild detergent.This meant that we had much of a day to spend there, but we knew we couldn’t stay from open to close. Inside you will find a museum and a typical home-palace which represents, to a large extent, the typical home decoration from the beginning of the 20th century. We actually didn’t even get over to this area, but supposedly, it is perfect for the youngest explorers. Playmobil Fun Park followed this tradition and couldn’t have made a prettier place for us to enjoy our lunch. We never miss out on free catalogs, since they are great at keeping the boys occupied for many hours in the car.

But again, I love how you can easily distract a disappointed kid here, because there was also a huge helicopter that grabbed his attention and he was more than content with! Off to the side was a small island that looked like it could be their hideout or possibly a jail the navy used to put the pirates. Among the highlights of this park is the simulated pirate ship with slides, ropes and runways all over the structure.However, Playmobil Park Nuremberg has SO much to do that you just probably won’t be able to do it all in one day without completely rushing the kids. I think the heat of the day was starting to get to the boys, and they still had other areas they wanted to explore before we had to go.
