This is normal behaviour of the monitor. Dell consumer monitors are inspected at 150 lux ambient lighting (similar to typical office lighting). You won’t need to do much in the OSD for most applications. The Standard picture mode provides good color accuracy in the sRGB gamut along with a 6500K white point and 2.2 gamma.
