About this deal

Performance-wise, the G Pro X Superlight is fantastic to play with. It quite literally feels like you’re not moving anything at all, so if you’re tired of dragging around a heavy mouse, then this is exactly the mouse to splurge on. From sniping in Overwatch to panning across levels in League of Legends, the G Pro X Superlight is a super-flexible mouse that knows what its strengths are. Basically, if ever there was a travel bag to cover ALL of your short term travel needs, the Nomatic Travel Bag would be at the very top of the list. For anyone looking for long gaming marathons, the G Pro X Superlight can certainly serve you well, but your comfort levels will vary dramatically depending on the size of your hands. The other flip side of course, is that the mouse is designed for right-hand use only. Remember, the Nomatic Travel Bag is one of the best carry on bags for travellers as well. Well done, Nomatic, well done.

For something more affordable, consider a mouse like the Xtrfy M4 Wireless. At 71 grams it’s a tad heavier than the Superlight 2 and the Viper V2 Pro, but the tradeoff is it ships with a modular shell that increases the adjustability of the mouse. Another nifty feature of the M4 is a switch that offers control over settings like polling rate and lift-off distance without the need for any software. For some, these will be a worthy omission in favor of keeping the mouse as light as possible, but for others it might lead to other choices in Logitech’s gaming lineup. Price and availability

You can adjust all of the Superlight 2’s settings (and save them to the mouse’s onboard memory) through Logitech’s G Hub software. If you decide to migrate to the Superlight 2 from a different mouse, Logitech’s “Hero Sensor Calibration” feature is there to translate your current DPI settings over to the new mouse as closely as possible. There’s also a new set of advanced settings that allows you to set X and Y-axis DPI independently of one another, and adjust the lift-off distance if you’d like to fine-tune your mouse. His biggest travel achievements include pushing a shitty tuk-tuk into the Himalayas, leading a group trip to Pakistan and surviving many near death experiences. It’s also worth pointing out Logitech plans to continue selling the original Superlight for the foreseeable future, so that’s another option. Other than the changes I listed above, the Superlight 2 is effectively the same esports-focused mouse that took over the market in late 2020. Logitech hasn’t added RGB lighting, a physical DPI switch, or Bluetooth connectivity, but if the exclusion of those features was what drew you to the Superlight in the first place, the Superlight 2 is simply a better version of its predecessor.
