Those of us who subscribe to this site are highly attuned to scent, we love perfume, our first memories are associated with scent. The plum in this composition is rather sour than ripe and the vanilla is just there to give it roundness. The rose is an understated friend, letting the jasmine really shine, the combination of which sets the tone for the base notes, which is when this frag really comes into its own. Absolute, however, contains what is good and exciting in the entire line and lacks all that put me off.

After about half hour it became somewhat white perfume, as silky white floral and soap with hint of alluring berries, and buttery vetiver and moss in background. EDIT: Forgot to mention -- this perfume sits close to the skin, like a true mysterious goddess, but my oh my the longevity is marvellous. Like others have said, it does smell elegant and is non-intrusive for people who want to wear something to the office and not bother anyone. It's faded quite a bit within an hour, and I have to get my nose right up on my arm to smell what's left of the fragrance. she wearing expensive clothes, driving a expensive car, full of luxury travel, having a expensive life style.

Moss, vetiver and patchouli create a herbal, earthy base while the bergamot tops it off with some unexpected fruityness. The little 30ml bottle is cute and fits the Roman aesthetic with the dark glass and clear sides that catch the light, like a tiny angry shield. The dry down slightest kiss of gentle powdery sweetness and a hint of mystery to pull you in, but not choke you with heavy over done sex appeal. The jasmine is not overpowering at all, which i like and the sweetness of jasmine is balanced out perfectly by the powdery musk. Has some citrus notes which work well with the light floral notes, with an undercurrent of warm fruity notes.

The Chypre fragrance family is characterised by a fine fragrance that particularly confident women appreciate. A perfect combination between Chanel Chance and Bvlgari Goldea, meaning that it is a bolder and fresher version of Goldea. Looking at the "This reminds me of" section, I can tell you that this smells nothing like Chance or Coco Mademoiselle. I'm usually one to stay away from anything even remotely close to a "mature" label, but this scent perfectly draws an air of sophistication without being too mature or "old lady"-like. This is why Jo Malone and Tokyo Milk are so amazing, they actually think and care about what they are creating.

Goldea Absolute opens up with a beautiful plum note backed up by it's sweet side (from the vanilla) and a dose of that musk.

I love the bottle, ad, and the name, but I have a feeling I will like the Absolute better after trying.On skin the performance is quite weak but as an oversprayer and someone who spray on clothes more than on skin, this can be considered as eternal to me, it lasts all day on my clothes. For example, some top note citrus scents smell stronger immediately upon application, while a lavender middle note may be sensed after some time from application as the top note evaporates.

On the other hand, Rose Goldea, though highly versatile with almost no complexity or character, I found it to be much more intriguing. What kills this fragrance for me is the excessive sweetness, the heavy vanilla, (which I am so over as it's been done to death), and the patchouli. Its olfactory pyramid begins with a curious accord contrasting sweet and spicy aromas, such as white berries, bergamot and black pepper, creating a vibrant and effervescent sensation. Just by looking at this fragrance, I half expected a dense, sultry fragrance on a bed of rich red roses and patchouli.I smell strong notes of black pepper and bergamot in the initial spray but it is quickly followed by the fruity hints from the mulberry, which is subtly sweet but most certainly not edible nor gourmand.
