I initially thought this leaned feminine but after I wore it a lot of the flowery aspects seem to fade into more of a uni sex fragrance. But I only have a couple of gourmands as only one woman I see likes them, and I'm less enthused about them than she is. Instead of grounding the cherries in earthy realism the citrus is softening the tartness to the point the cherry note smells like a bit player rather than the star. My son and I both are suckers for Lost Cherry, but it’s prohibitively expensive and doesn’t last as long as it should. Perfumes,especially of EDP concentration should be easily sniffable with a deep breath(like sauvage).

The scent overall is soft and not obnoxious, but it will get you noticed and pique other's interest with a "what is that? Suitable for all occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, or seasonal holidays, this fragrance will be a hit. It shines in autumn through spring, but honestly for me it's a dumb reach year-round, especially as a bedtime fragrance (not a euphemism). An exceptional layering fragrance when added on top of other fragrances that are dense, complex, dark, deep, rich; especially those that are boozy, spicy, and sweet gourmand types. Swinging into the herbal honey wave reveals velvety amber along with a touch of vetiver, to which majestic cedar bows.Seen is a fresh, luminous and precious fragrance that opens on the lusciously inviting fruity notes. Separate from the perfumer's alcohol smell, the actual alcohol note of cherry liqueur from Lost Cherry that I didn't like is absent in Lovely Chèrie. Update 10/31/23: After storing for awhile, this gets a lot sweeter, and the near-cinnamon/tobacco-flower tones from tonka come more forward in a way that gives me reminders of Back to Black By Kilian as well. The base is full and soft, giving depth and some darkness with amber, patchouli, sandalwood, oud and incense. They are all excellent clones, but this and Toscano Leather (clone of Tuscan Leather) are the only 2 that are actually BETTER than the originals.

Once you're into the mid and dry down, the almond kind of fades away, and is replaced by a smooth and sweet tonka bean.Even my little boyKs eyes lit up - he said it reminded him of our camp, because it smelled sweet and Smokey. Lovely Cherie is close to Dossier's version as well, but this is the better bargain with a nicer presentation. New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging is applicable).
