The ear pads of the DALI IO-6 are made from memory foam that naturally shapes to the head, therefore creating the best possible seal, which is important for a consistent acoustic performance. With the DALI‘s I really got the same goose bumps when listening the first time to some of my masterpiece music albums like „ON EVERY STREET“ from DIRE STRAITS or „PULSE“ from PINK FLOYD“.Almost like the 7506's in their sound profile in that they have a very "studio monitor" kind of feel, not bass heavy with a slight roll off of the highs. A simple button on the right ear cup switches the noise-cancelling mode on and off, as well as operating the transparency mode, which sends ambient noise to the speakers for improved perception of the outside world when the headphones are being worn. After 28 days you will still be able to get your faulty items repaired or replaced within the manufacturers warranty and we will be happy to assist you with this.

DALI may not be as well-known as the likes of Bose or Sony, but the Danish company has been building high-quality speakers for years. As far as the electronics are concerned, the device we tested works more gently and less intensively in comparison to the Sony WH-1000XM3. Better known for its Award-winning Oberon and Spektor speakers – and, more recently, the five-star Katch One soundbar – Dali is late to the table when it comes to portable headgear.As usual, this is the ‘make-or-break’ section – but in the case of the Dali IO-6 headphones it feels even more so than usual. All this would be for naught if the sound and noise-canceling were no good, but the IO6 manage to provide an acoustic performance that I think not only rivals the noise-canceling competition, but some dedicated headphones as well. Everything is right there, present and loud, but after a couple of songs, you realize the guitarist's amp is too close and you need to move back a bit from the stage because your ears are starting to hurt. With our passion for music reproduction, we were convinced that we could do with headphones what we have done with speakers; provide a better sounding product that delivers music experiences superior to the established competition. Along with reducing the annoyance of external noise, noise cancelling improves the audibility of music detail, meaning you can listen at lower volume reducing the potential of long term hearing damage.
