However, the telling of men's 'intimate stories' creates an almost unassailable challenge to current discriminatory practices and norms. it reminded me a little bit of Want Me by Neve Wilder where, although the sexual aspect of their relationship played a huge role in the story, both mcs and their dynamic were enough for me to enjoy the story bc they still had cute moments (as well as the jealousy bits 😌) that had me grinning so much.Sure there were plenty of moments with Mac and Jez together, but they became repetitive after the first few times. To be fair, there was also a bit of sweet romance with some genuinely tender moments, and I really liked both Jez and Mac. But Mac insists he’s not gay and is uncomfortable with the idea of anyone knowing what he and Jez are UP to in secret (pun intended).
