About this deal

Its array of functions is hard to beat, and it does seem to have a slight edge on cooking times and crispiness of chips. This is because, although I like to think I am a great cook, I'm awful at navigating new gadgets and many things which are DIY or high tech in my home, I'm usually awful at setting up anything like this. Our final Ninja recommendation was the most expensive one we tried, but this impressive gadget is what would happen if you combined an air fryer and a maxi-sized George Foreman grill. It has a much bigger capacity than many other air fryers on the market and with a rotisserie function and multiple shelves, you can get pretty creative with it.

The first three select temperature, cooking time and cooking mode (air fry, bake, roast, grill or keep warm). It will best suit families with kids, late office workers and anyone who wants to condense all their kitchen gadgets into one. Multiple settings including defrost, bake, broil, dehydrate, fries, wings, pizza, steak, and more means the limits of what you can make are your imagination.

The Innoteck air fryer oven performed particularly poorly in the sweet potato fries test but for other dishes, it was also slower than our usual machines.

Usually the average roasting time of a chicken is anywhere between one hour to an hour and 40 minutes, meaning the air fryer pretty much halved the time. The chips it produced definitely couldn’t be described as crispy, and during cooking it was loud and rattly. I’ve used a couple of different air fryers in recent months from a basic Tower model (the two dial, 4litre kind) that does an excellent job of cooking some meals for three people to a Ninja model with whistles and bells that doubles up as a pressure cooker and slow cooker as well as other functions.RRP) I think this kitchen gadget is an absolutely incredible investment for a small family (like me and my son) and is so easy to navigate. There's also a good set of instructions and a recipe book, which is just slightly better than the Salter one, but only slightly. Being able to fry and roast food is all good, but being able to bake as well as dehydrate things adds value. My chips weren’t quite as crispy as the Tefal model above, but they cooked quickly and evenly, and it excelled on sausages and fish fingers. This is a kitchen appliance that lets you cook all sorts of dishes using one of ten automatic programmes, or can be manually controlled if preferred.
