This is one of my father-in-law's favourites, and is definitely one of the most beautiful games on this list with gorgeous artwork and accessories so it would make a lovely Christmas gift. You play as bird enthusiasts seeking to discover and attract the best birds to your network of wildlife preserves.

If nobody or everybody guesses the correct card, the storyteller scores 0 points, and each other player scores 2 points. Otherwise, the storyteller and whoever found the correct answer score 3 points, and additionally the non-storyteller players score 1 point for every vote received by their card. A játék a Century trilógia gólemes verziójának záródarabja, mechanikailag megegyezik a Century - Egy új világgal. Mivel a trilógia első tagja nagyon elnyerte a tetszésemet, és a munkáslehelyezés mechanikát kedvelem, így lecsaptam anno erre a játékra is. (A második rész, az Eastern Mountains a megnézett videók és elolvasott értékelések alapján a leggyengébb tagjának tűnt a sorozatnak, így azt skippeltem.)

I take the first turn of our first game and the first - and thus free - card lets me "upgrade" any three crystals. And Century: Golem Edition begins to unfold. Turns stream by so fast that we end up in a traffic jam when one player is active before the previous one has taken their crystals. My three-upgrade card proves so flexible that it wins me the game. They also aren’t familiar, mainstream family games so who they tend to reach are hobbyists.Once a player has taken his fifth Point card (or sixth in a 2-3 player game), the game will end after players finish out the current round of play. The goal of Railroad Ink is to connect as many exits on your board as possible. In each round a set of dice are rolled which determine what kind of road and railway routes are available to all players. You then must draw these routes on your erasable whiteboards to create transport lines and connect your exits. At the end of a player's turn, if that player has more than 10 crystals on his caravan, he must return the exceeding crystals of his choice to the diamond-shaped bowls.Century: Golem Edition – Eastern Mountains combines with its predecessor, Century: Golem Edition. This creates a whole separate game in itself, called The Call for Adventure! We play the fourth game and, ten minutes in, we realise we're playing in near total silence. We've seen the Golems before. We know what cards we're angling for. We know that once we've got them, we'll know how they're going to get used and we'll know who wins. Century: Golem Edition grinds smoothly toward its conclusion with an air of resigned inevitability. When playing an 'Upgrade 2' card, you MAY upgrade a crystal on your caravan 1 level and then upgrade a crystal 1 level again. It is not mandatory to upgrade all crystals from an Upgrade card.
