They live in trees and are rarely found on the ground. They eat leaves of Eucalyptus trees. Koalas do not drink often, they get most of their water from the Eucalyptus leaves. While Swing Monkey is a pretty unique physics game, there are a few games that have a similar feel to it once you finish up all 100 levels of Swing Monkey. A couple of games that we recommend are Candy Jump and Winter Dodge. Both are based on using your momentum and controlling your distance.
Koala bears have special claws that make grasping and climbing easy. The front paws have five digits like a little hand. The two digits that might be considered the thumb and index finger are semi-opposed to the other three digits. The koalas in a colony are all aware of each other from the calls they make and the marks they leave on trees, but it is possible for individual to live in the same colony for 15 years and never interact or even meet. Despite having no tail, the Koala has an excellent sense of balance. With a lean, muscular body, and comparatively long, strong limbs, the Koala can support its weight when climbing. The front and hind limbs are nearly equal in length and much of the Koala’s climbing strength comes from the thigh muscle, which joins the shin much lower than in many other mammals. The resting heart rate of a Koala is anywhere between 70-140 beats per minute (it will depend on a range of factors, including the age of the Koala). It can be difficult to measure a resting heart rate for a Koala as they have a ‘sinus arrhythmia’ which means that their heart rate and breathing get out of sync. Playing Swing Monkey is a good way to apply basic physics to gameplay. The game’s mechanics can help players learn and understand the process of energy conversion. By applying knowledge of energy principles, players can calculate the right time to let go based on the amount of speed built up when swinging. This is an extremely stressful and dangerous time for the young koala, and they often succumb to injuries obtained as they are chased from one claim to another. Instead of living safely in their home trees, sleeping or dining on leaves, they must take to the ground to find new trees that are not already claimed by another koala. Naturally, the koala has a darling expression, but its big head contains one of the smaller brains percentage wise in the animal kingdom, and a rather primitive one at that.

The koala bear has a broad face with forward facing eyes, a large head with round tufted ears and an egg-shaped tailless body covered with plush grey to brown fur that is whiter on the undersides and often mottled over the rump.

The koala is found in coastal areas of the mainland's eastern and southern regions, inhabiting Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia. Because this diet has limited nutritional and caloric content, koalas are largely sedentary and sleep up to 20 hours a day. They avoid social interaction, and bonding exists only between mothers and dependent offspring. These dexterous little claws make climbing easier, for sure, but also help in feeding, as the koala usually pulls branches to its mouth with a front paw to slowly eat the leaves off.
