About this deal
Extends HDMI signals to one local and two remote displays up to 100 m over a single Cat 5e/6/6a or ATEN 2L-2910 Cat 6 cable
The VE802R HDMI HDBaseT-Lite transmitter connects with HDBaseT receivers to extend signals up to 70m from the source using one Cat 5e/6/6a cable. It supports RS-232 and IR signaling pass-through, allowing you to control the HDMI source device from the remote unit (VE802R) while also granting access to the HDMI display device from the local unit (VE802T). IR signals can also be extended in both directions. The VE802R is HDMI (3D, Deep Color,4k) and HDCP compatible. Most of us begrudgingly accept that switching between or among several computers requires some amount of cable swapping, moving devices around, or other general awkwardness. But with a KVM switch (the KVM short for “keyboard, video, mouse”), you can leave those bothers behind and save time, space, and money. Not to mention, a whole lot of hassle. Manufacturer: Shenzhen Gentlen Technology | Ports: 4 | Resolution: 2048p | Switching: Remote | Price:💰 Video DynaSync™– an exclusive ATEN technology that optimizes display resolution, speeds up switching between systems, and ensures that windows opened on an extended desktop will not revert to their default configurations on the main display when switching between ports
Note: it is a single unit that can be configured to be a transmitter or receiver, so you will need two for an extender pair. The VE882 accepts an audio-video stream from a local source and serializes the data to pass it over a single 3.125 Gbps optical link (for resolutions up to 1080p@60Hz at 24-bits). The VE882 can also extend the IR remote control and transfer RS-232 (up to 115kbps) in both directions, allows you to connect serial devices such as touch screens and barcode scanners. The VE1812 HDBaseT Extender with POH is the ideal solution for connecting equipment in remote locations up to 100m over a single Cat 5e / 6 / 6a cable. With Long Reach Mode enabled, the VE1812 can extend HDMI signal up to 150m @1080p.
You might think that power wouldn’t be a factor for a simple switch, but KVM switches require it. Most will draw power from the connected PCs to make splitting, switching, and managing devices possible, but some models also include an internal power supply to keep everything separated from your PCs. Housing and manufacturing aside, the actual connectivity of the device is very consistent. Just don’t expect a sleek interface or consistent settings. After all, this is a barebones split, and the sole purpose is to make two PCs share a monitor, mouse, and keyboard. Any additional quality-of-life features just aren’t available within the Rosewell. Anti-jamming resists signal interference during high-quality video transmission using HDBaseT technologyLong distance transmission - up to 100m
